Food Distribution
REGISTRATION & PICK-UP INFORMATION
York Benevolent Association distributes food on the first, second, and third Tuesdays of each month and the second and fourth Saturdays offsite. New participants are required to pre-register on the first or third Tuesday at 10:30am at our Kings Mill Road location — with food collection to follow. The second Tuesday distribution is Fresh Express Produce and is open to all clients who are already registered. Participants need to show their photo ID and Benevolent registration card as they drive through. All distributions at the Benevolent will be on a drive through or walk up basis.

Hunger Does Not Discriminate
Hunger can be difficult to recognize, but it affects people from all walks of life. In fact, the faces of hunger may surprise you. Roughly 13% of people living in York County are food insecure — meaning they essentially do not consistently have enough food to lead a healthy life. The consequences of hunger on individuals, families, and the community are devastating. Our mission at The Benevolent is to connect every individual facing hunger with healthy, nutritious food.

HELP US
Help Others
At the York Benevolent Association, we rely heavily on our generous donors to give a little—or a lot—to help us secure nutritious food for our neighbors in need. A little goes a long way. Find out how you can help.
